New directorship at CGC

Renfrewshire construction firm CGC has announced a leading member of its team has become a director.

Senior contracts manager David Gray,34, took up his new role with the company on April 1.

He is currently in charge of CGC’s steel fabrication activities which are showing strong growth.



David has been with the business, whose Scottish HQ is in Paisley, for four years and has a background in steel fabrication working both in Scotland and Canada.

Announcing the news, managing director Leo Reilly said: “This is an important appointment for the business. David brings huge expertise and professionalism to the role in an area of growing significance for CGC.”

Director Ronnie McDowell added: “We have invested considerably in this side of the business and it is already producing results with high demand for our steel products. David will lead the continuing expansion of our work in this area.”

David said: “I’m delighted to have become a director of the business as we continue to grow and deliver high quality products for our many customers.”
