The tournament brought together 76 players from within the housebuilding industry, such as Persimmon staff, subcontractors, suppliers and land agents. 

The event was the brainchild of Persimmon Homes West Scotland land manager Max Hill, who has organised the event as part of the company’s fundraising drive for the charity. 

This year’s title was given to Advance Construction, after it recorded a score of 52.

The most recent fundraising brings the total amount raised via the golf day over the past four years to over £48,000.

Hill said: “It’s fantastic to see everyone come together once again and raise £10,000 for such an important cause.”

Chris Logan, managing director at Persimmon Homes West Scotland, said: “The golf day has now raised more than £48,000 over four years, and we’re incredibly grateful to our volunteers, charity committee and all our partners for their continued generosity and support.”

The event was made possible due to the ongoing support of Persimmon’s partners, subcontractors, suppliers and land agents. 

Looking ahead, Persimmon Homes West Scotland intends to continue its support of The Beatson Cancer Charity through a variety of fundraising initiatives.
