Planned maintenance contracts get underway at Ferguslie Park
Tenants of Ferguslie Park Housing Association are set to receive a boost as CCG gets underway on two planned maintenance contracts.
The Glasgow-based contractor is set to embark upon a 53-residence bathroom replacement programme, as well as undertake window and door replacements to a further 62 properties across the Ferguslie Park area.
The window and door products that are set to be installed are CCG’s own. Fabricated at the firm’s company HQ in Cambuslang, a total of 500 PVCu windows will be installed alongside 62 composite main entrance door sets.
Comprising a combined £1.2 million investment, the contracts – procured via Scotland Excel – will be led by CCG Asset Management and are set to be completed within a 10 to 12-week period.
“David Burrows, head of property services at FPHA, said: “We are delighted to be continuing our relationship with the team at CCG. The continuation of our windows and door replacement programmes shows the commitment to our tenants in improving the quality of their homes.
“The team at CCG have delivered for us in recent years on similar projects with exceptionally high tenant satisfaction in terms of the product, reducing heating bills and noise pollution. Satisfaction levels with the CCG team on site and how they engage with our tenants were similarly very positive.
“The bathroom refurbishment works are again further evidence to our commitment to improving the standards of our homes, and we are delighted to be working alongside CCG on this project.”
CCG Asset Management manager, Jim Cunnigham, said: “We are delighted to be supporting Ferguslie Park Housing Association once again with these two new contracts. Both follow the successful completion of various window and door replacement projects in recent years, and we will ensure they are delivered to the same high standard, with a focus on quality and maintaining open, regular dialogue with tenants.”
