Working with Barratt Homes for nine years, Hastings oversaw the construction at Barratt Homes’ sold-out Jackton Hall development. 

Working with David Wilson Homes for five months, Maclennan oversees the build of luxury homes at Eaglesham View in Jackton, East Kilbride. 

The two are among a select group of site managers nationwide to receive the award following a judging process which involves thousands of inspections.

The award celebrates outstanding standards in site management, leadership and build quality.

Hastings, site manager at Barratt Homes at Jackton Hall, said: “Pride in the Job is one of the most respected recognitions in our industry, so to be named among the country’s top site managers is a real honour.  

“Delivering high-quality homes requires a relentless focus on standards, attention to detail and teamwork every day, and this award reflects the commitment of everyone working on site at Jackton Hall.”

Hall added: “We all share the same goal of building homes that our customers can be proud of for years to come.” 

The pair’s success also contributed to a strong year for Barratt Homes parent company Barratt Redrow, whose site managers gained 122 Pride in the Job awards – which is greater than any other UK housebuilder.
