Procast secures place on UK-wide £450m framework

Principal contractor Procast Group has earned a prestigious spot on the Communities & Housing Investment Consortium (CHIC’s) Multi-Element Framework.

The Hamilton-based firm has been successfully appointed under the UK-wide framework’s Lot 2, which is valued at £450 million. Lot 2 provides works and services to residential properties and associated communal areas for Multiple Element of Built Environment-related activities, including responsive repairs and provision of void works.

The appointment provides CHIC members with a compliant and efficient route to procure a wide range of essential property services, enabling the delivery of whole-life building solutions across both internal and external elements.

The four-year Multi-Element Framework, which runs from 2025 to 2029, was highly contested, with Procast Group joining the select group of contractors chosen to support the needs of housing providers across the consortium.

A total of 33 firms joined the lineup of regional and national contractors to secure a place in the Multiple Element Framework, which is open to more than 200 CHIC members, primarily housing associations and local authorities, but also members from the health and education sectors.

Under the framework, Procast Group will be able to deliver extensive services including demolition, extensions, alterations, new construction, groundworks, remediation, foundations, external environmental improvements, communal area enhancements, roofing, building plastics, insulation, windows and doors, electrical systems, wiring and heating services.

CHIC is a collaborative, not-for-profit, member-owned organisation that delivers fully compliant procurement solutions and commercial support to its members. Working closely with the supply chain, CHIC is committed to securing savings for members while driving improved environmental outcomes and added social value.

Derek Innes, owner and managing director of Procast Group, said: “We are delighted to be appointed to CHIC’s Multiple Elements Framework as we continue to expand our contribution to high-quality property services.

“This collaboration represents an exciting opportunity for Procast Group to contribute to the effective delivery of crucial works and services for CHIC’s members. We look forward to delivering exceptional services and fostering long-lasting partnerships.”
