The building, which was originally constructed as hotel accommodation for the Commonwealth Games, was converted to provide 124,000 sq. ft. of office space in 1976 and now accommodates 1,200 staff.

Over the next three years, Clark Contracts will be involved in the delivery of maintenance, fit out and refurbishment projects across the six-storey building with projects ranging up to £500k in value.

Projects are expected to include refurbishment of open-plan office spaces, the main reception area, support services departments and kitchens along with maintenance works throughout the building.

Projects through the framework will be delivered by the Contractor’s Small Works Division who specialise in refurbishment and fit out projects up to £1m in value.

Gerry Cummins, director at Clark Contracts, said: “It is fantastic to have secured Registers of Scotland as a new customer and we are looking forward to collaborating over the next three years.”

Earlier this week, akp Scotland and Overbury were also appointed to work with RoS on a programme of small to medium works across the RoS Estate.
