Robertson Homes retains five-star builder status
Independent housebuilder Robertson Homes has retained its place among the UK’s top housebuilders based on customer satisfaction, after achieving an outstanding 96.1% customer recommendation score in the 2026 Home Builders Federation (HBF) Five Star Rating Scheme.
The scheme measures house buyers’ satisfaction levels on build quality and customer service and is carried out independently via the National House Building Council (NHBC) National New Homes Customer Satisfaction Survey.
Customers were asked to rate their housebuilder out of five for the quality of their home and the service they received after both eight weeks and nine months of buying their new home. The scores are then averaged with builders achieving a minimum of 4.15 being awarded Five Star status.
Part of the Robertson Group, Stirling-based Robertson Homes was established in 1994 and builds new homes across North and Central Scotland and North East England. The latest HBF Survey figures see Robertson Homes not only retain its Five Star housebuilder status but also be ranked fourth amongst the builders sending between 300 and 999 annual customer surveys, with a composite score of 4.37.
John Murphy, managing director at Robertson Homes, said: “Having more than 96% of our customers happy to recommend us to family and friends and being in the top five comparably sized builders in the UK based on customer satisfaction is an exceptional accomplishment for our business.
“Striving to give customers the levels of service and experience they rightly deserve, we have been committed to exemplar development, great communication, sustainability initiatives, community engagement and friendly, professional after-sales customer care.
“Everybody within our business, from construction to sales to customer care has played their part in ensuring our customers experience the very highest standards and reflect our values as an independent housebuilder.”
