RoSPA Gold Award success for Novus Property Solutions

Novus Property Solutions, the maintenance, refurbishment and fit-out contractor, has been awarded a RoSPA Gold Award at the 2026 RoSPA Awards, for its focus on health and safety.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Awards celebrate their 70th anniversary this year, marking 70 years as the biggest and most reputable health and safety awards programme on global scale.

The 2026 awards brought in around 2,000 entries from almost 60 countries, reflecting international recognition in safety in the workplace.

Edward Hawksey, head of SHEA at Novus Property Solutions, said: “Receiving a RoSPA Gold Award is a fantastic recognition of the dedication shown by our teams every day to maintain safe working environments across all of our projects.

“Awards like this are only possible because of the professionalism and consistency our people bring to their work.”

Novus operates through a variety of sectors, such as social housing, healthcare, education, hotels, student accommodation as well as retail and leisure. This means that solid planning, clear communication and compliance with safety procedures are needed to safeguard workers on-site and building users.

Julia Small, growth director at RoSPA, said: “RoSPA congratulates Novus Property Solutions on their RoSPA Health and Safety Award. The high standards Novus has achieved are the result of hard work and dedication, of which Novus should be rightfully proud and which RoSPA is delighted to honour.

“2026 is a landmark year for the RoSPA Awards as we reflect on how far workplace safety has come in 70 years. It is because of the commitment of health and safety leaders like Novus that people today are safer at work than in the past, and it sets an inspiring example for the future.”
