Sky leases Glasgow city centre office from CBRE

CBRE has advised Sky in securing a long-term lease on new office space at 55 Douglas Street in Glasgow city centre, comprising 26,184 sq ft across the fourth and fifth floors of the Grade A building.
The move to 55 Douglas Street represents a strategic investment by Sky in its people. Following a comprehensive refurbishment completed in 2019, 55 Douglas Street offers contemporary office accommodation complemented by a wide range of premium amenities. These include spa-style shower and changing facilities, an on-site fitness studio and extensive cycle storage.
Sky will also be undertaking an office fit-out with catering and various spaces for its colleagues in the customer service group and supporting teams.
Located in the heart of Glasgow city centre, the building also benefits from excellent connectivity to public transport networks and places employees within easy walking distance of the city’s main retail offering and thriving food and drink scene.
Sky joins existing tenants of 55 Douglas Street including Scottish Daily Record and Sunday Mail Limited, a subsidiary of Reach Plc, who occupy the entire first floor.
