Speirs Wharf build to rent plans withdrawn

Weiss Development Co Ltd has withdrawn plans for a build-to-rent development of 68 flats just north of Glasgow city centre.
The development near Speirs Wharf concerned land at 124 Craighall Road.
The developers were planning to demolish the existing buildings to make way for the block containing one, two and three-bedroom flats.
However, the application has been withdrawn before a decision was reached by Glasgow City Council planners.
The planning documents do not reveal any explanation for the change of heart, ReGlasgow reports.
It is not clear if a revised plan will be submitted.
