Energy Assets Utilities (Scotland) has appointed Steven Lynch to the position of managing director to support the continued growth and development of the business.

Steven joined the Energy Assets Group in December 2015 with the acquisition of Blyth Utilities - a utility network construction company, he co-founded with his brother Colin - and is now moving from the position of commercial director of Energy Assets Utilities to managing director in Scotland.

Colin was recently named chief executive officer of Energy Assets Group.

In his new role, Steven will be applying the knowledge and expertise he has acquired over a 23 year career in multi-utility network construction to drive the business forward.

Steven said: “I am very much looking forward to using my experience as a co-founder of Blyth Utilities and then as Commercial Director for Energy Assets Utilities to continue the growth of our market position in Scotland. Energy Assets Utilities has built a strong market reputation for technical excellence and service innovation among housebuilders and commercial developers and we aim to leverage these strengths to drive further expansion.

“We pride ourselves on getting things right first time, from issuing quotations to delivering complex network projects - these are essential to ensure the continued growth of our business.”

Steven lives on the outskirts of Alloa and is married with three children. Outside of work he is a keen golfer, follows football, enjoys reading and listening to music.
