The continuation of its current Ravensheugh development will aim to deliver a further choice of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes.

Additionally, Taylor Wimpey will detail its plans for this development to East Lothian Council around April this year. It will make an application for Approval of Matters Specified by Condition (AMSC) which will build on the outline design framework for the St Clements Well masterplan, integrating this proposed new development with the existing development.

The St Clements Wells masterplan has delivered a new primary school, and will also deliver a proposed new secondary school, local centre and community woodland along with new foot and cycle connections to Wallyford and the local train station. Following the completion of the first development of 69 homes, this proposed next phase of Ravensheugh will also form part of the masterplan vision.

This development will also complement Taylor Wimpey’s nearby Letham Mains development in Haddington and its Weldon Grange development in Macmerry, as well as future land interests in Dunbar signalling continued and significant investment in East Lothian by Taylor Wimpey East Scotland.

Pauline Mills, land and planning director at Taylor Wimpey East Scotland, said: “We are so pleased to have acquired further land at St Clements Wells in Wallyford which cements our commitment to the wider East Lothian area.

“Interest in our development at Ravensheugh has been strong from homebuyers looking to take advantage of the great location and commutable routes to Edinburgh and the wider area that Ravensheugh offers. Securing our future land will ensure that we can continue to play our role in the delivery of new homes as part of the overall masterplan vision that St Clements Wells will deliver.”
