Taylor Wimpey West Scotland has donated a total of £500 to Renfrewshire Foodbank to support the delivery of food provisions during the summer holiday period.

The funding serves as a part of Taylor Wimpey West Scotland’s focus on supporting communities, helping services like Renfrewshire Foodbank to continue to support families.

Bex Lang, marketing manager for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, said: “Summer should be a time of ease for families, but for many it brings added financial strain.

Lang added: “Food banks across the region work tirelessly to bridge that gap, and we’re proud to play a small part in supporting Renfrewshire Foodbank’s incredible efforts.

“We hope our donation helps them continue to provide essential support throughout the summer months.”

At present, Renfrewshire Foodbank is running its ‘Hunger Doesn’t Take a Summer Break’ appeal, which encourages local residents and businesses to give food, funds, or their time to help reach the seasonal demand.

Linda Kelly, chief executive officer for Renfrewshire Foodbank, said: “Summer is one of our most challenging periods, and support from local partners like Taylor Wimpey West Scotland makes a real difference.

“Their donation will help us replenish much-needed stock and ensure families across Renfrewshire continue to receive the help they need.”

Looking forward, Taylor Wimpey West Scotland intends to continue to work closely with local organisations to provide positive contribution to the communities around its developments.
