Real estate agency Cushman & Wakefield has announced two promotions within its Scottish operation.

Claire Peebles and Conor Nisbet, who are both based in the Glasgow office, have stepped up to become senior surveyors.

Stuart Dorward, head of Scotland for Cushman & Wakefield, said: “It hasn’t been an easy year for anyone, which makes their achievements during this time all the more impressive. Both have adapted tremendously well to the new working practices and have provided an exemplary service to their clients, remaining positive throughout and coming up with innovative ways to improve our services.



“These promotions are a testament to the hard work and effort demonstrated by them and those that supported them on their journey.”

Conor Nisbet

Claire, who joined the company in 2018, works in asset services in the office, retail and food and beverage sectors. She has been busy throughout the pandemic collaborating with Facilities Management to prepare bespoke Recovery Readiness programmes for landlords and occupiers, helping them to implement best practices for staff returning to work and consumers to retail and leisure outlets.

She said: “Being promoted has been a great way to end a challenging year and I feel very lucky to work for a company that continues to value the hard work of its employees and invest in their future.”



Conor, who started as a graduate in 2015, joined the Healthcare Valuation & Advisory team in April 2019 and values care homes, children’s day nurseries, health centres, pharmacies and dentists for lenders, institutional investors and REITs.

He said: “Coming into the business as a graduate, it has been great to see the clear career progression on offer at Cushman & Wakefield. I have had so much support and encouragement from my colleagues in the Healthcare team and I am looking forward to the year ahead.”

Alan Thomson

In further good news for the business, Alan Thomson has joined the valuation & advisory team in Scotland as an associate.



Alan who splits his time between Glasgow and Edinburgh, joined from Lambert Smith Hampton where he spent more than 12 years.

He is focusing on residential development sites, Build to Rent (BTR), Private Rented Sector (PRS), Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and residential investment portfolios.
