United Infrastructure eyes growth with Inverness Chamber Partnership
United Infrastructure, a solutions provider for UK infrastructure, has announced that its subsidiary, Power Transmission and Distribution, has joined the Inverness Chamber of Commerce.
The Inverness Chamber of Commerce is a business membership organisation that aids companies in the Highlands through networking, advocacy, and initiatives.
Forming part of its strategic investment in the Highland region, United Infrastructure has joined the Inverness Chamber of Commerce to boost ties with local businesses, strengthen its understanding of the regional landscape, and to make sure its decision-making is locally-driven and effective.
Since early last year United Infrastructure has grown its business, which now includes a broad spectrum, from low-voltage, to high-voltage, to transmission & distribution.
Through its engagement with the Chamber, United Infrastructure can connect with local authorities and the wider community, while also getting access to member companies active within Scotland.
Jim Csöppü, project director ASTI SSE T&D, said: “As part of the United Infrastructure strategic investment in the Highland region, it is clear, that building effective relationships will enhance our local understanding and ensure our decision making is informed and appropriate.
“Engagement with the Chamber of Commerce provides a gateway to aligning with local authorities, the wider community and to an extensive network of member companies active throughout Scotland.”
With the need for a more solid power network continuing to rise, prompted by new technologies including artificial intelligence, United Infrastructure continues to accommodate emerging developments.
