WSP acquires building services consultancy, eyes boost in expertise
The engineering, science and infrastructure solutions firm, WSP, has announced on 29 September its acquisition of the UK-based building services consultancy, Hulley & Kirkwood.
Hulley & Kirkwood, which was established in 1953, employs roughly 122 people across seven offices in the UK and has an especially strong Scotland-based presence.
The firm specialises in mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) building services, with expertise in healthcare, defence, commercial, education and government sectors.
The move unites Hulley & Kirkwood’s specialist building services expertise with WSP’s wider multidisciplinary focus, boosting WSP’s healthcare and defence capabilities while boosting its regional presence, especially in Scotland.
