Are you a visionary leader ready to shape the future of housing and support services for older people in Scotland?

Bield Housing & Care is seeking an exceptional individual to join our senior leadership team as Head of Housing & Communities. This is a critical and high-impact role with strategic responsibility for delivering high quality independent living, supported housing, and care-at-home services across 21 local authority areas.

We’re looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking leader who can set bold strategic direction, drive innovation, and lead transformational change. You’ll play a key role in shaping policy, influencing national agendas, and ensuring that our services not only meet regulatory standards but set new benchmarks for excellence.

You’ll also be responsible for cultivating a high-performing, motivated team—empowering colleagues to deliver outstanding, person-centred outcomes that allow over 6,000 people to live with dignity, independence, and choice in their own homes.

In this role, you’ll:

    • Lead service strategy and innovation across housing, supported living, and care-at-home
    • Foster a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement
    • Champion digital transformation and community empowerment
    • Build and sustain strategic partnerships across sectors
    • Ensure compliance with housing and care regulations while delivering on our charitable mission
