Roofing Advisors - Senior Estimator 

Continuing with our current recruitment drive and growth plans, Roofing Advisors are recruiting for a new 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿/𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿.

With a solid pipeline of tender enquiries, frameworks, and repeat business, we are offering a great opportunity for an individual to join our team, to lead our Estimating department and is a key senior appointment as part of our development strategy.

You will be responsible for tenders of varying size and roofing techniques and will require a strong technical knowledge and understanding.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱:- 

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Estimator role, ideally within the Roofing industry
    • Proactive approach to Tendering and Pre-Contract duties, including attending Site Visits and Client meetings
    • Strong IT skills, including MS Office, SharePoint and Smartsheet
    • Experience of Estimating software (we currently use EQUE2 Evaluate)
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities and negotiation skills
    • Ability to work closely with our Consultation, Operations and Commercial teams
    • Comfortable operating under deadlines and managing multiple estimates simultaneously 
    • Full UK Driving Licence 
    • Based in our modern Glasgow (West End) office and commute to sites as required
