Plans for a £10 million transformation of Scone Palace have been recommended for approval, paving the way for one of Perthshire’s most significant heritage developments in recent years.

Plans have been submitted for a £10 million revamp of visitor facilities at Scone Palace. The estate wants to convert an unused stable block to create a new entrance and to open a restaurant with a gift shop, office space, an upgraded ticket office and additional visitor attractions.
