Forming part of the St Clements Wells masterplan, Taylor Wimpey East Scotland’s AMC planning application aims to deliver 149 new homes in a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes, and it represents an ongoing investment in the East Lothian area by the housebuilder.

Developer contributions from the overall St Clements Wells masterplan are being made towards a new primary school, secondary school, local centre and community woodland, as well as the provision of new footpaths and cycleways to connect the development to the town of Wallyford as well as the local train station.

Pauline Mills, land & planning director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland, said: “We are delighted to confirm that the AMC detailed planning application for our next development has been made to East Lothian Council for a further 149 new homes at Ravensheugh in Wallyford.

“Since successfully establishing our first development here in 2020, our next proposed development will enjoy the same range of benefits which includes great transport links, an ideal location with superb views, as well as an impressive range of new homes that have already proved extremely popular and will continue to appeal to a wide range of buyers.”

Jonathan Brindle from East Lothian Developments, added: “Taylor Wimpey is already delivering attractive new homes on their initial site at St Clements Wells. This is an exciting time at the development with work just started on the new secondary school, so we are very pleased to see these further new houses coming forward from Taylor Wimpey to give more people the chance to enjoy everything St Clements Wells has to offer over the coming years.”
