Knight Frank has expanded its burgeoning project management service in Scotland with the appointment of Abbie Brown.

Abbie joins the independent commercial property consultancy as a project manager in Edinburgh, providing support to developments across the country.

Having recently relocated from Melbourne, Abbie brings with her seven years of project and contract management experience. She previously held roles with Camden Signage & Building Services, ARK Industrial, and McCormack in Australia.

Abbie has delivered high-profile projects across multiple industries including sites for Ford and Toyota in the automotive sector, healthcare facilities, and large-scale industrial developments. She has also developed specialist expertise in programme methodology and stakeholder communication – particularly within commercial and infrastructure projects.

At the end of last year, Knight Frank recruited David Robertson to lead its project management service in Scotland, as a specialism within its building consultancy team. The firm is managing the £200 million transformation project at Edinburgh’s Port Hamilton, which will become Lloyds Banking Group’s main Scottish base.

Abbie Brown said: “I worked with Knight Frank back in Melbourne and always had a fantastic experience with the team. It’s great to join the firm in Scotland at such an exciting time – the Port Hamilton project is a once-in-a-career opportunity to be part of. Moving from construction gives me a different perspective, and I look forward to supporting clients with that experience.”

David Robertson, partner at Knight Frank, added: “Abbie is a great addition to our team and her skills and background are an excellent complement to the existing expertise we have within Knight Frank. Our project management service is growing rapidly thanks to a highly positive first half of 2025. We expect this to continue so we can maintain our level of service to new and existing clients across the country.”
