And finally... Construction worker to put 100-strong vintage car collection to auction

Coyote Johnson, 65, has accumulated nearly 100 vintage vehicles since he was 16 years old, restored many of them and even building barns by hand in order to store them.

The construction company owner from Iowa has racked up Plymouth Road Runners, Chevy Chevelles, Ford Mustangs and nearly every type of muscle car from the 1960s and 1970s.

Now Mr Johnson is selling the majority of his 87-car collection at auction, but says he’ll be holding on to several of his favourites.

Johnson, of Red Oak, told the Des Moines Register that few people were aware of his collection until he announced he’d be putting them up for auction just a few months ago.

The vintage car enthusiast said it was his girlfriend and daughter who urged him to part with most of his beloved vehicles.

The priciest car being auctioned off is a red 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Spot Coupe with a 454 big-block V8. B Bidding is starting at $11,750.

While the most inexpensive car is a 1984 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe 10 Pickup for Restore that will be taking bids starting at $150.

VanDerBrink Auctions will be handling the sale at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds on September 14.
