Rosyth-based specialist flooring contractor Advanced Traditional Screeding (ATS) is celebrating after being named Medium Business of the Year at the 2023 Fife Business Awards.

It’s the first time the firm has received such an accolade, beating off strong competition to come out on top at a glittering ceremony at the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews.

The award was open to any company based in Fife with between 11 and 50 employees that has been trading for over 24 months and can demonstrate it has delivered significant performance achievements and improvements in the last two years.

The judging panel comprised 16 prominent business figures bringing a wealth of experience across all sectors of business.

“It’s an amazing achievement for all the team,” said managing director Jason Lister, who set up the company in 2014.

“It’s fantastic recognition for all the hard work put in by so many and I couldn’t be prouder.

“Well done to all the other winners on what was a great evening at an iconic venue.”

ATS is a floor screeding, resin, underfloor heating and consulting business which works across the United Kingdom and assists clients with all of their pre-construction and construction flooring requirements.

Five months ago, the company took delivery of Scotland’s first Putzmeister Transmix truck as part of a major expansion programme, which also saw the establishment of ENERGYSCREED, a new low carbon, non-combustible and energy efficient insulation, UFH and flowing screed division of the business.

ATS recently announced a long-term partnership with Italian manufacturing giant Giacomini, becoming the first Scottish company to link up with the global producer of underfloor and ceiling heating and cooling systems.
