Azets liquidators take control of struggling wind turbine specialist 1Stopwind

James Fennessey and Blair Milne of Azets have been appointed as provisional liquidators for 1Stopwind Limited following a winding-up order issued by Paisley Sheriff Court.

As a result of the court order, the registered office for the Scottish wind farm maintenance company has been transferred from its previous address in Paisley to the care of the accountancy firm.

1Stopwind, which specialised in the inspection and repair of onshore and offshore turbines, had recently reported net assets of £1.1 million for the period ending 31 March 2024.

The company employed an average of 15 staff, a slight increase from the previous year.

The directors elected not to disclose the profit and loss account in the financial statements lodged with Companies House in December 2024.
