Balfour Beatty to showcase Netherton Hub opportunities at Aberdeen event

Suppliers of construction, maintenance, security, landscaping, transport or catering services in the North of Scotland are being invited to an event where Balfour Beatty will discuss contract opportunities on The Netherton Hub Energy Project in Peterhead.
The Balfour Beatty Construction and Balfour Beatty Power Teams will be exhibiting at The Supplier Development Programme’s Meet the Buyer North event, on 10 September at The Music Hall, Aberdeen, from 10am -3.30pm.
During the event, Balfour Beatty’s teams will meet local businesses to discuss the range of work available on the Netherton Hub. Supply chain opportunities on this project include:

The Netherton Hub is part of the SSEN ASTI (Accelerated Strategic Transmission Investment) Offshore framework and is a Strategic development for a site located to the west
of Peterhead.
Key components of the Netherton Hub include: 400kV substation, 132kV Substation, Spittal to Peterhead HVDC converter station, Eastern Green Link 3 HVDC converter station, HVDC switching station, a Spares Warehouse, Operations Depot and Store.
