Cala submits third and final phase of homes at Jackton development

Cala Homes (West) has submitted a planning application for the third and final phase of homes at its Sequoia Meadows development in Jackton, East Kilbride.

Located between Eaglesham and East Kilbride, Cala’s Sequoia Meadows development currently offers homes including one- and two-bedroom apartments, three-bedroom terraced and four- and five-bedroom detached homes.

The third phase of the development is set to deliver an additional 97 detached properties, featuring a mixture of four- and five-bedroom homes.

The development has played a vital role in improving connectivity between Jackton and nearby Lindsayfield, with the recently completed arterial spine road reducing congestion and commute times. New cycle and footpaths have also been created to encourage sustainable lifestyles and create safe access to local amenities.

The new phase will see three new show homes and a marketing suite opened by approximately Autumn 2025.

Graham McNeil, land director, Cala Homes (West), said: “We are excited to share the third phase of Sequoia Meadows with the public in Autumn 2025.

“This development has been eagerly anticipated due to the success of the first two phases of Sequoia Meadows, which has become a vibrant community in the 2 years since its launch.

“Sequoia Meadows represents only part of a major ongoing investment by Cala in terms of the new community being created at Jacktonhall and we are proud to have played a leading role in the area’s transformation.”
