Appointed by Morgan Sindall Construction, the project is delivered by hub South West Scotland (hub SW) in collaboration with Dumfries and Galloway Council, with funding supported by the Learning Estate Investment Programme.

The school will see a new athletics centre, offering PE and sporting spaces for pupils and the wider community alongside an all-weather sports pitch.

The facility also includes new social and dining spaces, as well as an amphitheatre and science garden. 

Additionally, break-out areas will be created for science and languages, and a library will also be delivered. 

The design, supply, installation and commissioning of mechanical systems consisting of above-ground drainage, domestic services, low temperature and hot water heating are included in the scope of works for Castle Building Services. 

LV installations, small power, fire and intruder alarms, security systems, lighting, including controls, earthing and bonding, lightning protection, induction loops and EV charging are included among the electrical works.
