Having operated there for more than 30 years, the firm is looking to relocate and capitalise on mounting residential interest in the area by freeing up the industrial site for residential development.

Under the plans, 216 private rental apartments will be constructed alongside 279 ‘student beds’. The development will also look to incorporate interior courtyards as well as space for a future Leith Connections cycle path.
