Plans to convert a former furniture store in Banff into nine flats have been given the green light.

The new development will transform the existing shop floor and roof space of the vacant Cruickshanks House Furnishers into a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments.

A small retail boutique store will also be included at the High Street site.

Previous proposals to redevelop the building to create 13 new apartments were refused last year.
