Gleeds named ‘Best Workplace for Wellbeing’ for four consecutive years

Gleeds, the international property and construction consultancy, has stated that it has been selected as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing for the fourth year running, which puts it in 14th place in the top 50 businesses within the Super Large category.
To create the list, culture experts from Great Place To Work looked into thousands of employee surveys, analysing their wellbeing experiences at work in areas such as work-life balance, happiness and financial security. Analysis also included an evaluation of how successfully the organisation was able to consistently maintain employee experience within departments and levels of seniority.
Sarah Brown, Gleeds’ UK people director, said: “This is the fourth time Gleeds has featured in the Best Workplaces for Wellbeing list and we’re thrilled to have climbed over ten places this year.”
“This progress reflects Gleeds’ ongoing commitment to creating an environment where employee wellbeing is genuinely prioritised and where people feel valued, supported and able to thrive.”
Brown added: “Feedback from colleagues at all levels highlights a culture built on listening, openness and mutual support. We are particularly proud of the accessibility of our senior leadership team, whose active engagement helps ensure that wellbeing remains at the heart of our organisation.”
Benedict Gautrey, managing director of Great Place To Work UK, said: “Creating a culture of wellbeing requires deliberate leadership, strong values and consistent action that puts people first…
“To be recognised on this list is a clear signal that wellbeing is not treated as a peripheral initiative, but as a fundamental part of organisational culture. Congratulations to Gleeds on this achievement and for setting a leading example for workplaces across the UK,” he went on to say.”
