Green light for revised housing plan for West Lothian village

A developer has won permission to build 43 new homes in a West Lothian village.
Ogilvie Homes lodged revised proposals to develop a site in Kirknewton which is earmarked for housing.
The initial application drew objections about health care provision from East Calder Medical Practice
Recommending the plan for approval, council planners said earlier objections had been addressed in the revised plan put before councillors.
