Property and building consultancy PMP has appointed the head of its Glasgow office, Lorraine Martin, to the PMP board of directors.
The appointment was announced at PMP’s annual drinks reception in Glasgow, attended by the PMP team from across its offices alongside clients, partners, consultants, contractors and members of PMP wider supply chain.
Lorraine formally took on leadership of the Glasgow office around 12 months ago, having excelled since joining PMP. Together with the Glasgow team, she has delivered strong results for clients across the city and Scotland.
The appointment recognises her hard work, perseverance and resilience. Lorraine joins Stewart Rutherford, Mark Humphries, Mat Belgrove and Chris Paveling on the PMP board, along with non-executive directors, John Dunn and Kai Murray. It is the first of several structural changes PMP will make over the coming period as the business continues to evolve as a property partner to its clients.
Stewart Rutherford, managing director at PMP, said: “Ours is a people business, and Lorraine is a brilliant example of what that means. She’s led our Glasgow office with real determination, it’s firing on all cylinders, and the results speak for themselves. It was a pleasure to announce her appointment to the Board in front of so many of our clients and partners, and I’m delighted to welcome her officially.”
Lorraine Martin, head of PMP’s Glasgow office, said: “I’m proud of what the Glasgow team has achieved over the past year, and honoured to join the Board. I’m supported by a team of brilliant people who work hard for our clients every day. I’m looking forward to helping shape PMP’s strategic ambitions as we grow, while protecting the culture that sets PMP apart in the marketplace.”
