Retrofit and energy-efficiency specialist Procast Group has joined Heat Network Scotland, the independent organisation that works to influence policy and help drive the adoption of sustainable heating solutions.

Heat Network Scotland brings together industry, housing providers, academics and government to share best practice, encourage collaboration and support the growth of heat networks across Scotland.

By joining Heat Network Scotland, Procast Group will strengthen its collaboration with organisations leading the development of low-carbon heat infrastructure at a time when the sector is focused on delivering practical, scalable solutions to decarbonise heat.

As a business delivering large-scale retrofit and decarbonisation projects, Procast Group sees its membership as an opportunity to contribute practical experience, share industry insight and work alongside fellow members to support the continued development of low-carbon heat across Scotland.

Through its membership, the company will collaborate with organisations across the sector, contribute technical expertise and support initiatives that help deliver warmer, more energy-efficient homes and buildings while advancing Scotland’s net zero ambitions.

Derek Innes, group managing director at Procast Group, said: “We are delighted to become a member of Heat Network Scotland and to join an organisation that brings together industry, housing providers, academics and government officials to accelerate the decarbonisation of heat.

“What appealed to us is the ambition to create a collaborative environment where members can share what works in practice, contribute to important policy discussions and collectively support the transition to low-carbon heat.

“We look forward to working alongside fellow members, sharing our experience and contributing to the development of practical, sustainable heat solutions that deliver lasting benefits for communities across Scotland.”

Antoine Reguis, founding director of Heat Network Scotland, added: “Heat Network Scotland is delighted to welcome Procast among its members. Heat Network Scotland brings together all the key stakeholders interested in or impacted by the development of heat networks across Scotland.

“For us, it is essential to hear the voice of contractors from the construction and retrofit sectors, and we look forward to working closely with Procast. This partnership will support a joined-up approach to developing resilient, sustainable and affordable heat for Scottish homes and businesses.”
