Holmes Miller staff to keep on walking for former colleague

Staff at architecture practice Holmes Miller are to uphold a tradition that followed the untimely passing last year of a much-loved colleague by participating in a charity walk.

Carol Rafferty was a keen walker and as well as a celebration day to mark her life, colleagues will take part in a walk this Friday to raise money for ‘Action For Pulmonary Fibrosis’.

In keeping with tradition, the staff will be walking the same route through the west end of Glasgow which Carol undertook as part of Holmes Miller’s Charity Munro challenge a few years ago.

The walk will start from the firm’s office at 89 Minerva Street at 1pm and follow a four-mile loop ending back at the office where food and refreshments will be served to give everyone an opportunity to share happy and funny stories of their personnel experiences/memories with Carol.

The celebration is open to all Holmes Miller colleagues, old and new, as well as Carol’s family and friends.

A JustGiving charity link has been set up to raise money for ‘Action For Pulmonary Fibrosis’.
