Integrated Flooring Technologies (IFT), an independent family-run business providing specialist flooring systems and installation services, is proudly celebrating 40 years in business.
Founded in 1985 as a concrete repair specialist, IFT has grown into a trusted, multi-service provider delivering resin flooring, screeding, floor preparation, gas membranes, TLA, self-compacting concrete, and underfloor heating solutions across Scotland and the North of England.
From its headquarters in East Kilbride and regional office in Bishop Auckland, IFT now employs 45 staff across its two sites. The company’s expansion into the North of England in 2014 marked a key milestone in its journey, strengthening its presence in the construction and specialist flooring industry and enabling further growth.
Throughout its history, IFT has delivered high-profile projects that showcase its expertise and innovation. One of the company’s most notable early achievements was delivering the largest resin flooring contract in the UK at the time, at the Hyundai facility, cementing its reputation as a leader in the field.
More recently, IFT has worked on prestigious projects such as the resin and screed installations at the world-renowned Macallan Distillery and the cutting-edge Aerospace Innovation Centre in Prestwick, further reinforcing its position as a trusted partner for complex and specialist flooring solutions.
Managing director Greg Love said: “Celebrating 40 years in business is a proud moment for everyone at IFT. Our success has been built on hard work, innovation, and the strong relationships we’ve formed with clients across Scotland and the North of England. What started as a small family business has evolved into a respected industry leader, and this anniversary is a tribute to the dedication of our people and the trust of our customers.”
In 2024, IFT recorded a turnover of £7.6m that represented a 68% increase compared to 2005. Looking ahead, the company has ambitious plans for further growth, with a clear target of increasing turnover by a further 7% by the end of 2025.
As IFT celebrates four decades of delivering high-quality flooring systems and services, it remains committed to its core values of integrity, reliability, and excellence, while continuing to invest in its people, services, and future growth.
