JR Group wins Link construction framework bid
The JR Group has confirmed its place on the Link Housing construction framework, following a successful bid, securing its positive working relationship with the housing group for the next four years.
The firm was successful in all lots and regions it tendered for, meaning it will now join a small number of other businesses to support Link Housing’s delivery of much needed affordable homes to rent or buy.
As part of the tender, the JR Group will be able to work on a variety of projects such as the large-scale delivery of new high quality, housing projects across the country.
The JR Group has enjoyed strong partnership working with Link Group since its first project with them in Luss, in 2016. This is the second time the construction business has been successfully placed within the framework with current projects including Dumbarton Road in Glasgow, and Upper Achintore in Fort William.
Andrew Dallas, project director for The JR Group, said: “This is a significant award for The JR Group to secure, to cement our current workstream and continue to build this positive relationship with such an important working partner. The Link Group Framework is an extensive application process, and a lot of time and resource goes in to ensuring we can demonstrate our high-quality standards to meet the strict criteria, so I am delighted we were successful in our bid.
“Throughout the last six years, we have built up a wealth of knowledge and experience in delivering some key projects for Link Group around the country and our commitment to supporting the communities in which we build has been an integral part of this positive relationship. This includes the introduction of our ‘welcome home’ boxes for all first residents to new Link Housing homes we have delivered, as well as donations to local groups and organisations in the surrounding areas during the project delivery. This this something we are committed to continuing as our relationship continues.”
“It is a vital win for us a business and I look forward to continuing our work with Link Housing Group across Scotland over the next few years.”
