Bellway Homes has unveiled a new partnership as the title sponsor of Kelty Hearts Football Club.

The news follows the recent announcement that an American consortium led by global football executive Jordan Gardner has acquired a majority ownership stake in the club.

Managed by Thomas O’Ware, the club, which is based in Kelty near Dunfermline, competes in the SPFL League One and was a junior club up until 2017.

Bellway has invested significantly in Fife over the years and has plans for a new development on Cocklaw Street in Kelty, subject to planning. As well as being shirt sponsor, the main dugout and north stand will be branded Bellway.

Lynn Pringle, sales director, Bellway Homes Ltd (Scotland East) said: “Kelty Hearts FC is very much a community driven club and with all the recent changes it’s exciting to see how it develops.

“Community is very important to us, especially as we embark on building new family homes in the area and we’re delighted to be on board.”

Kelty Hearts director, Jim Kirks, added: “I am delighted to welcome Bellway as our new title sponsor. After having the opportunity to sit down with the team, it is clear that their commitment to strengthening our community aligns perfectly with Kelty Hearts.  I thank them for the support, and I am looking forward to strengthening our partnership throughout the coming year.”

Bellway Homes has created a number of residential developments throughout Fife including a current site, Earl’s View in Glenrothes, a collection of two, three and four bedroom homes.
