A new luxury eco-house has opened its doors to visitors in Highland Perthshire on the southern edge of the Cairngorms National Park.

Situated in a riverside glen, Larch House is a modern, bespoke architect-designed self-catering retreat, which has a wood-fired hot tub, sauna, cinema room and wood-burning stove.

Larch House has been built with sustainability to the fore and nature at its heart. Larch House is clad in Scottish larch and has picture windows that provide mountain, river and woodland views.

The house sits in its own private garden and woodland, with the river ‘Shee Water’ forming one boundary.

Larch House is situated in Glenshee, close to the A93 between Blairgowrie and Braemar, and just 20 minutes’ drive from the Glenshee Ski Resort. The house also provides easy access to a variety of popular walking routes, water sports, fishing, and whisky distilleries.

Up to six people can sleep at Larch House, with its three large en-suite bedrooms.

Each room can serve the purpose of either a super-king double or two singles.
