Major revamp completed of Edinburgh’s 65 Haymarket Terrace
A major refurbishment of a prominent office building overlooking Haymarket Station has been completed, bringing new Grade A accommodation to Edinburgh city centre.
Three floors of 65 Haymarket Terrace are now ready for occupation following the project, offering nearly 20,000 sq. ft. of high-quality office accommodation. The building is owned by a client of CBRE Investment Management and is being marketed by Knight Frank.
A range of enhancements have been made to 65 Haymarket Terrace, focused on supporting occupier performance, wellbeing, and sustainability.
The property is targeting an ‘A’ Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating, with new VRF air conditioning and LED lighting throughout. New showers and locker facilities have been installed along with secure bike storage to encourage active commuting, while the reception area has been expanded and modernised.
65 Haymarket Terrace’s current occupiers include law firm Harper Macleod, Thorntons Solicitors, and alcohol-free beer producer Brulo.
Toby Withall, office agency partner at Knight Frank Edinburgh, said: “65 Haymarket Terrace’s refurbishment delivers immediately available, high-quality Grade A office space in Edinburgh city centre at a time when it is acutely needed. The programme of work has been specifically shaped around the needs of modern occupiers, with a clear focus on sustainability, wellbeing, and floorplates that match their requirements.
“With demand for Grade A accommodation continuing to outpace supply, and little new product coming on stream, 65 Haymarket Terrace will provide much-needed options for occupiers currently looking for space. With a range of lease events coming up, we expect to see a good deal of interest in the space.”
