Designed by Oberlanders Architects and delivered by Robertson Construction, the cutting-edge facility is a flexible event space featuring an impressive central atrium and shared co-working zones, fostering collaboration and connection. Spanning three floors, the turn-key chemistry labs and high-spec office space provide the optimum environment for start-ups to grow, scale and thrive.
Metal Technology Ltd supplied a range of its high-performance architectural glazing systems, expertly installed by Avtek Ltd:

With a fabric-first approach, our systems helped the project meet demanding thermal and acoustic targets, supporting the building’s wider sustainability goals and the University’s commitment to net zero.
Set to create up to 800 new jobs and contribute £190 million to the local economy by 2053, this world-class hub is a milestone project that showcases how thoughtful design and precision-engineered products can enable growth and innovation in the life sciences sector.
