Morrison Construction wins Contractor of the Year at education awards

Morrison Construction has named as the Contractor of the Year at the inaugural Education Buildings Scotland Awards held at Edinburgh’s International Conference Centre on November 21.

The awards were held on the first night of the two-day Education Buildings Scotland Exhibition and Conference.

The aim of this Scottish Government-partnered event is to bring together education built environment and policy professionals while recognising their achievements during the year.



Several Morrison Construction projects also won at the awards including West Calder High School with the Inspiring Learning Spaces Award and Tarbolton Community Campus for Innovation in Delivering a Sustainable Education Facility.

Morrison Construction divisional managing director, Ian Jubb, said: “To be the first to win the Contractor of the Year Award at Education Buildings Scotland Awards is an achievement to be proud of.

“We would not have won this award if not for our talented preconstruction and delivery teams whose dedication makes building these amazing projects possible.
