Multi-utilities to support 305 new homes in Granton

Located near the Firth of Forth, Granton Plot S comprises 305 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, available in a mix of affordable and mid-market rent, that are being delivered on behalf of Port of Leith Housing Association.

Arc-Tech MU are assisting main contractor CCG (Scotland) and will provide a turnkey gas, water and electrical multi-utilities package representing the single largest project of its kind the company has undertaken since its inception in 2020.

Plot S is located within the Granton Waterfront Regeneration Framework which is one of the largest, housing-led regeneration programmes of its kind in the UK. Up to 3,500 new homes, education facilities, a medical centre, commercial spaces and active travel routes are all set to form part of a brand new town created west of Edinburgh city centre.

Arc-Tech MU managing director, Josh Martin, said: “With works commencing at Granton Plot S, it represents another important milestone for our business as it is the first project in the City of Edinburgh region as well as being the largest residential project that we have ever undertaken. The wider regeneration of Granton is hugely significant for the local economy and we are delighted to be supporting CCG and our client, Port of Leith Housing Association.”

Construction works commenced at the development earlier this year with formal completion expected in 2023.
