Property and construction consultancy business PMP has made a raft of promotions following another year of growth.

The building and surveying company, which operates in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol and London, has reported an increase in its turnover to £5.7 million – an increase of over 24% year-on-year.

To recognise the growth in demand for its services, which include building surveying, project management and cost management, the leadership has promoted a number of key players as it enters the new financial year.

Lorraine Martin, David Kennedy, Robert Marshall and Duncan Esplin have all been promoted to new senior levels within the business.

In Glasgow, Lorraine Martin has been promoted to director and will support Gavin McClymont in operations in the West, while David Kennedy will take on the role of director in Edinburgh, having risen through the ranks from graduate during his tenure at PMP.

Robert Marshall is being promoted to technical director in Edinburgh and will support the UK-wide business development, with Duncan Esplin promoted to associate director in the projects team.

This is the second round of promotions in 2025 for the company, which announced in January the promotions of Paul Allan, Chris Birchall and Thomas Chapple.

Stewart Rutherford, managing director of PMP, said: “PMP has thrived in recent years, performing strongly in the market, with our services in demand across the UK.

“With the business in a strong financial footing, this has seen our turnover and profitability increase due to the people that have helped build PMP into the company that it is today.

“This has allowed us to make a number of significant promotions within the business as we build on the success and elevate PMP to even greater levels for our clients and our company.”
