Pride in the Job success for Miller Homes Scotland site managers
Six site managers from Miller Homes’ Scotland East and West divisions have been hailed winners at the The National House-Building Council’s (NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards for 2026.
Site Managers, Jake Telford at Strathmartine in Dundee, Ewan Todd at Shawfair near Edinburgh, Lloyd McCord at Chapel Gardens in Dumbarton and Andrew Farquharson at Millerpark in Clydebank all received the award for the first time.
Derek Tait, at West Craigs Manor in Edinburgh, got the award for the seventh occasion. Duncan Currie, at Antonine Brae in Bo’ness, was recognised for two years in a row.
NHBC’s Pride in the Job Awards see site managers from all over the UK judged over a period of one year and a half against six key qualities: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise, as well as health and safety.
For this year’s awards, 450 site managers were selected as Quality Award winners from 7,500 UK - 15 of those were from Miller Homes.
David McGrath, executive managing director, Miller Homes Scotland and North said: “At Miller Homes we always strive to offer the highest possible quality for our customers, and that’s reflected in another fantastic round of Pride in the Job winners across our Scottish developments.
“These awards are a testament to the dedication and hard work of our site managers and their teams, who consistently go above and beyond to deliver high-quality homes.”
All six Quality Award winners will now move on to the next stage of judging, where they will compete for the Seal of Excellence and Regional Awards, which is scheduled to be announced later in 2026, before the national Supreme Award winners are announced in January next year.
