With there having been thousands of assessments taking place in 7,500 sites, 450 people have been chosen as winners, placing Taylor Wimpey’s winners in Scotland within the top six per cent of the UK’s site managers. 

Taylor Wimpey West Scotland’s Pride in the Job Quality Award 2026 winners are David McClure (Castle Gate, Maidenhill); David Cunningham (Amble Court, East Kilbride); David Morrison (Newton Farm, Cambuslang); and Stuart Gillespie (Lairds Gardens, Kilmarnock). 

Taylor Wimpey East Scotland’s Pride in the Job Quality Award 2026 winners consist of David Loney (Sinclair Gardens, Roslin) and James Canning (Hawthorn Gardens, South Queensferry). 

Brian Henderson, production director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, said: “Achieving and maintaining the highest levels of quality and customer service is very important to our business, and we are pleased to receive this independent industry recognition again this year. 

“These individual awards are tough to achieve and we’re very proud that we have some of the best site managers working for our business in Scotland.”

“The judges look for site managers who go beyond strong performance and demonstrate qualities that lift a good site manager to an exceptional one.”

Quality Award winners will now progress on to the Seal of Excellence and Regional Awards during the autumn. In January next year, the national Supreme Award winners will be announced.
