Environmental and engineering solutions provider, RSK Group, has been appointed to seven lots on Scotland Excel’s Framework 1025, boosting its capacity to provide integrated technical and environmental services to Scotland’s public sector organisations.

Constituting 18 group businesses, the appointment follows from the provider’s eight-year track record on the framework, supporting public bodies and local authorities on infrastructure, development and environmental projects.

Under the framework, the appointment will see RSK deliver services for lot 1 (Roads and Structures Engineering and Technical Consultancy), 2 (Transportation and Traffic Engineering and Technical Consultancy), 3 (Environmental Engineering and Technical Consultancy), 4 (Land Surveying Engineering and Technical Consultancy), 5 (Drainage and Flooding Engineering and Technical Consultancy), 6 (Geo-environmental and Geotechnical Engineering and Technical Consultancy), 7 (Coastal and Maritime Structures Engineering and Technical Consultancy).

Peter Jackson, public sector director at RSK, said: “This appointment reinforces our long-standing commitment to Scotland’s public sector. Through the Scotland Excel Framework, we provide coordinated technical expertise that helps clients respond to environmental, climate and delivery challenges.”

According to Jackson, through previous framework commissions, RSK businesses have supported projects on schools and education infrastructure, housing and regeneration schemes as well as transport alongside additional infrastructure projects.
