Thomas & Adamson acquired by Egis

Global architectural, advisory, construction engineering and mobility services firm Egis has completed the acquisition of Thomas & Adamson, the property and construction consultancy headquartered in Edinburgh.

Egis said the strategic addition of Thomas & Adamson will significantly enhance its advisory services for clients in the UK and beyond, reinforcing its commitment to strengthen and expand its UK presence.

Founded in 1935, Thomas & Adamson has a dedicated team of over 100 staff across Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, and the Middle East, and a proven track record of supporting leading organisations through the complexities of procuring, delivering, and operating assets in the built environment. The firm delivers cost and project management, building surveying, and principal designer services across all major sectors in the built environment, including commercial, education, sports, and hotels.

Egis’ global advisory team will work closely with Thomas & Adamson to accelerate the growth of its advisory services in the UK and internationally.
