Views sought on Kennoway public space upgrade

Fife Council is planning a major upgrade to the public space at Bishops Court in Kennoway.
It is looking at an investment of around £300,000 to improve the area, with plans that include:
- Removing the old walls and railings along the shopping level and replacing them with new ones
- Creating a ramp from the bus stop to make access easier for everyone
- Upgrading the surfaces along the parade
- Adding new seating and planters to make the space more welcoming
The aim is to get started later this financial year or early in 2026/27.
David Paterson, community manager, said: “To make sure that the views of local people are taken into account, we’ll be hosting engagement sessions at Kennoway Library soon, to chat through the plans and hear your thoughts — dates will be shared as soon as they’re confirmed.”
