AECOM has named engineer and ex-British army veteran Andy Thorne as its client director for defence for UK and Europe.  With more than three decades of experience as an engineer, Thorne has spearheaded infrastructure programmes for the British Army and Royal Air Force.

Armed Forces personnel and their families will benefit from the most significant transformation of UK military housing in more than 50 years, with more than 40,000 service family homes to be modernised, refurbished or rebuilt.
