Plans for an innovative, ground-breaking replacement building for Waid Academy in Anstruther have been unveiled following the £330 million Scottish Government investment into expanded Scotland’s Schools for the Future programme.

Major housing plans which could see 1,500 homes built along with a primary school on land to the west of Perth have been submitted by the Pilkington Trust. The proposed Almond Valley Village is set to take shape on a 160-acre site in the Ruthvenfield/Huntingtowerfield areas of the city,
